I put this nappy on my baby before he sleeps as it claims that it lasts for 12 hours. Indeed, after my baby’s night time sleep, there was no leak. It was ultra-absorbent, and very dry. There is no real need to change in the middle of the night. It helps also that the design is beautiful and fits my baby perfectly.

When my boy was a newborn, the Newborn Huggies, used to leak. The Huggies Ultimate Nappy Pants (6kgs and up) are brilliant though. Very absorbent, perfect for crawler or toddler, They dont smell, even after 5hrs. I use them mostly at night. I wished they were a little bit cheaper – because when they go on special, and are good value, the shops run out of them very quickly!

Like it states can hold a wet nappy for 12hrs. Yep it’s correct the nappy is full full after a good 10hr sleep but no leaks and no redness. Bubs bum is dry, hasn’t had a rash since using them. Highly recommend them as they have a firm fit and you don’t notice the urine smell

As a first time mum making sure bub has the best was an obvious choice and especially bub bottom. If it was good enough for hospital it is good for bub. This was a no brainer. It is soft and gentle on bub bottom and it was easy to use with the wetness indicator. If only it was better for the environment like cloth nappies.

Recently on family holiday, my toilet training two and a half year old twins weren’t quite advanced enough to go next level and persist with all of the strange places and toilets.

Our convenient solution though was to purchase Huggies Ultimate Nappy Pants. I was able to fit the nappy pants on mid-descent on the plane when Miss A decided that she needed to go when the seatbelt light was flashing.

They have great capacity, are comfortable and leave no lasting red marks around the legs. I love that there is an option to be able to fit them like you would a nappy, especially when it’s colder and you have a fully dressed toddler.

Every aspect of the nappy pants market has been thought of including the slightly more fitting Mickey and Minnie characters for the toddler set. Very important to please the little people with their undergarments – it certainly makes changes so much easier!

Huggies are my favourite brand of nappies to buy I much prefer these ones compared to huggies new ultimate design. Huggies always tend to hold a lot better then any other brand. The design concept and everything about huggies I like. I don’t usually buy the skincare range but definitely a fan of there nappies. Most recommended nappies I’ve found to date

We bought these nappies before my son was born. They fit great with no leaks and were great for his new sensitive skin. He rarely got a rash. They are a bit of a higher price point then others however I don’t think I would put my newborn in anything else.

We have used Huggies since my son was born and have always found them to be really good! I briefly trialled other nappies to see what was the best fit for us and came back to Huggies, in our opinion they are the best hands down. They don’t fit our little boy perfectly, they are a little big but every baby is different so they’re not going to be perfect size for everyone, we just fold them down and we are good to go. We have never had any explosions or leakages! They are super absorbent Oliver sleeps through the night and has a VERY full nappy in the mornings, but still its all in the nappy and no where else. They don’t smell like I have found other nappies to and we have never had nappy rash! All in all we really can’t fault them and we will stick with them from here on out.

Best nappies for my little man who will not lay down for change time. I love that they are resealable at the sides unlike other nappy pants. They also hold alot and very very rarely leak. They fit bubba well and I have not had any trouble with them irrigating his skin.

i found these nappies brilliant. After having four children and trying so many baby products along the way, i’ve come to realise whats good and what to avoid. Huggies are great, they are often on sale which i find good. Who doesnt love a sale? They dont give my children rashes which is one of the result after trying other brands. They have always held great all night (Blessed with babies slept through)I love the tabs on the older style huggies mixed feelings on the ultimate but they are still over all a great nappy.

The hospital I had my daughter at gave us Huggies newborn nappies to use and I had planned to use the other sizes as she has grown. We have used infant and are now on to crawler. We’ve never had leaks are redness from the nappies. They rate well for overnight sleeping. My daughter sleeps 12-13 hours at night and she wakes up with a full nappy but not wet through which I found was the case with other brands I sampled. I am so happy with Huggies I don’t even look at other brands, They are a little more expensive than some other brands, but I just by bigger boxes and I try to get them on sale. I will be using them for my future children as well.

I started using his just for in the night as my daughter was still waking once in the night and thought it may be because of how wet her nappy was. These gold a lot more wee without feeling too heavy and wet like other nappies. I only use these at night as they are a little more expensive tHan normal nappies and also my daughter won’t stay still for long enough after a bath to dress etc!.

These nappies are amazing, they keep baby dry all night long by wicking the moisture away from her body -she can go 10-12 hrs overnight without waking and its important that i feel confident that she is comfortable. She hasnt had any nappy rash in these nappies and maybe 1 poo explosion in 3mth. I also love the wetness indicator -genius.

I have used different nappies and have come to love Huggies range the most. It is very pricey compared to other nappies but you can find special deals at coles, woolworths, IGA, costco and baby bunting and stock up. Very absorbent, excellent fit which prevents leakage. However, sometimes bub falls in between sizes and can initially get a leakage when you start the next size up. But that has happened with most nappies with my bub. Reduces red marks compared to other nappies. Would have been a perfect product if it was as soft as baby love nappies.

  15. manoj

Many hospitals and parents recommend Huggies nappies and we can see why. Being on the pricier end, it can be worth the cost because these nappies are so easy to use, has a good wetness indicator and have never leaked for the few times we’ve used them so far. The Huggies website also frequently offers free samples, so definitely worth getting some.

    “Originally posted on tellmebaby.com.au”

  16. eleanor

There is no comparison- they are the best but you also pay a premium for it. That said, if it means less and a happy baby bum, then I will pay more.

We tried one other brand and we had an explosion so we are definitely into Huggies!

The wetness indicator may be a gimic (as my husband says, a little bit of wee and you maybe going through the, faster than you need to) but I like it as I know I am keeping my son nice and fresh.

I’m not sure I believe the 12 hour protection – it’s true if your baby hasn’t done lots of pee but we change every 4-6 hours during the day and whenever he wakes up at night to be safe.

We’ve tried a couple of different brands, but the huggies newborn nappies have been the best so far. My daughter poops A LOT and the only time we have had a leak was when my husband actually put the nappy on back to front! My daughter has just about grown out of these now and we will move on to the next size, but stick with Huggies.

The Huggies nappies are expensive but are good quality with soft cushioned inside and wide fans around the leg to catch any leakage. We have had explosions with these nappies (and all others) but they are generally very good at absorbing. The blue indicator strip is also very handy to tell you when bub is due a nappy change.

    “Originally posted on tellmebaby.com.au”

  19. Stacey C

I love these nappies! they fit bub perfectly and are super easy to ‘fluff’ out the sides and prevent any leakage. They are super cute with the Pooh Bear designs and the wetness indicator line is an absolutely genius feature. I have yet to have a ‘poo explosion’ with these nappies (thank god!) and would have absolutely no hesitation recommending them to everyone.

These were a very reliable pull up nappy while using with my son who is a heavy wetter. I love the resoluble tabs, and they even make it easy to seal up for throwing away. They fit very well to baby’s body and were great for preventing leaks.
The cost is a bit high, so we preferred to use the regular Huggies Ultimate nappies, but they would be great for babies who struggle to put on nappies laying down!

I have been consistently happy with these nappies. Despite trying a few other brands on the recommendation of friendss, I have always returned to these. My son (now 14mths) has had no leaking issue and no nappy rash while wearing Huggies. I highly recommend this brand.

Have been using buggies nappies since my little one was born and I wouldn’t use any other brand. They always fit well and he seems to Ben very comfy in them. I was given a box of another brand and they were so thin and crispy and felt terrible. My littleness one has sensitive skin so want him to be as comfortable as possible.

My DD was born at 35 weeks and even with her tiny body and doubling over the sides of her nappy huggies gave her the best protection. Super comfortable, never a sign of nappy rash to be seen.
The best thing was the nights she was in them for extended periods, she stayed dry through her large sleeps so I knew she was comfy and happy.

these nappies are absolutely awesome and price is valuable! Good absorbency and the wetness detector is so helpful especially for new mum like me.i never have issues with this nappies so far and I will never try different brands for my baby this is best of the best for sure makes life easier thanks Huggies

  25. tracy

I have done a bit of shopping around for nappies (trying to find cheaper alternatives) however I always come back to Huggies. The nappies are soft, stretchy around the waist, and easily the most absorbent product I’ve used. The wetness indicator eliminates the need for sniff-testing – a huge bonus in my eyes! You can’t go wrong with Huggies.

hi im a young mum and i was lucky to start my son on huggies nappies from birth (0-5)kg they had a huge great picture on the front, very soft, very flixble and held in poos and wees really well i never had a problem with leakage at the time and was very happy using them until he was about 6 months old, again i really liked these nappies for my son and they were very usable at the time, i would definantley adivse these were a great nappy for me.

I’ve tried a few alternate brands to compare to huggies, primarily to save money. Huggies tend to be more expensive, but you can get sone great deals when they’re in sale. In saying that, they truely are a product that should have the stigma of ‘you get what you pay for’. The other brands haven’t made the cut in our busy household, either because of leakage or smell. I’ve found other brands to let us down especially during the night with leakages or they tend to give off a bad odour. We will certainly be sticking to huggies nappies.

I really wanted to use eco friendly nappies so I tried all the different brands. While there were a few good ones, they are quite hard to come by or need to be ordered online so there’s something to be said for the convenience of nappies sold in a supermarket so you can quickly pick some up when you run out. THese nappies are always reliable, so whilst there’s always some hippie guilt, they are definitely my go to.

  29. Claire K (verified owner)

Huggies are the best nappies we have used. They are very absorbent and seem to be quite comfortable. There are anti leak frills along the back and around the legs which do a great job of containing poop explosions. The prints on the nappies are quite cute! I wouldn’t use any other brand.

  30. sarahshields93

We have been using buggies nappies since we were in hospital and are very happy with them. Our baby does some pretty big explosions and only a few times has it leaked through! We love that the line shows you when he is wet and they are easy to use. We will continue with Huggies as our baby grows.

  31. jobie

I have been using these nappies since I was introduced to them in hospital. I find them very absorbent and the only time we have had a leakage is when the “ruffles” around the legs have not been pulled out properly (parent fail!). They sit nice and high on my babys back. But the best par for me is how absorbent they are. As a new mum I never needed to worry that baby was crying because she was uncomfortable with a wet nappy. I highly recommend!

We’ve used Huggies since day one for our baby and never had any problems. they fit well, stretchable and super absorbent. Baby mostly wake up with a full nappy in the morning, as you can feel the weight but never any leaks at night. Huggies is one brand we trust and will be sticking to it.

We have used these for my son since he was born. he was born preemie at 1.7kg but we still used the newborn size and the hospital showed us how to adjust them to fit him. He was in newborn size until he got to 5kg and is now in infant size. We haven’t had any issue with leakage or irritation from the band, they are going great.

  34. mama (verified owner)

We’ve only had a couple of spills using these nappies- and I think that was due to over filling and no brand would have contained it!
The nappies are easy to use, the wet/dry line is amazing and makes checking so easy.
We bought faulty box a while go and when I contacted Huggies i received fantastic customer service. An equipment error damaged a batch of nappies, it was a problem they were aware of and they provided reimbursement without any hassles.
I am hesitant to try any other brand of nappies because Huggies have been so good but I’m tempted by the lower cost options- I’m just not sure a lower price is worth it if we end up with spills and leaks.

  35. manas (verified owner)

I find these the best nappies for newborns, I have never had an issue with them with both my children. They don’t leak and don’t iceberg my kids a rash as they have sensitive skin. The wetness detector is such a great addition to these nappies and makes it easier when changing.

  36. matthias

When I had my first baby we tried a few different brands of nappies to find the one that worked best for us, but we alway went back to the Huggies nappies. We found that we had less leaks compared to other brands especially overnight and we’re able to get a good fit without it cutting in to there legs and leaving red marks. I personally think Huggies nappies are worth the money.

I started with ecoriginal nappies, everything about them was great but the newborn size was too big even for a 3.7 kg baby with 51cm high.so we switched to Huggies and I loved it from day one. Sizing is perfect, I love the wet indicators, and there will be no leakage unless you don’t wrap it properly. Both in first weeks that my daughter lost weight and she was so skinny and soon after she started gaining weight and has been on 90 percentile weight and 98 percentile height charts (you can imagine her size), these nappies could fit well. Since she was 3 months old I stopped changing her during the night and her nappy in the morning is SUPER heavy but as I said never never leaked.
Of course with an explosive poo you should expect a bit leakage but it’s totally fine. I wish they could make these nappies from eco friendly materials ! But generally I highly recommend it.

These are the only disposables we will use overnight! Our 4-month-old wears size 3 and sleeps anywhere from 8-12 hours at night – so far no leaks! The insert is super soft and absorbent, we haven’t had any nappy rash from them. They are also reliable in the car seat and pram, no explosions!

When I first had my son I didn’t want to get hooked on brands. We tried about 10 types of nappies and we stayed with Huggies through every stage.every now and again we would end up with a random packet if they ever ran out of Huggies and we had to deal with leaking, tearing and bad nappy rash. I would rather pay the extra and keep my little one dry and comfortable and for me not the clean up any explosions

  40. clio

We used the newborn nappies when our son was born in hospital as well as at home. They are very absorbant and he sleeps through the night without waking from feeling wet.
With the newborn nappies we did have a few poo explosions out the sides but with the next size up we have had no troubles!
I love the wetness indicator and they never leave him with a rash. They can be quite pricey so we use these as well as Aldi and I buy in bulk when they’re on sale. Can’t go wrong with Huggies.

Not oncehave we had a leak with huggies. BOught in bulk, they are well priced and absorbant. Overnight bub can for 10 hours and will wake up with a full nappy you skin dry. Used and trusted for generations for a reason! HIghly recommend as a good reliable nappy that’s grows with bub over the years.

  42. evania

The best advice we were given as new parents with regards to Nappies was to use one brand that worked for you and stick to that brand. We sampled a few, obviously the cheaper options, until we found the right one and we kept finding ourselves comparing them all to huggies so they’re now the only ones we use.
The shape of the nappy fits perfect to the shape of their little bums, the side elastic doesnt dig in to the sides of their legs and the grip tabs are easy to pull and use for super quick nappy changes as well. We had a significant reduction in nappy rash while using Huggies and we also had no wee or poo leaks either which was suprising for a newborn.
the feel of the nappy is also that of quality, it doesnt feel thin like yucky stuff coudl leak through and the inside lining is also nice and soft and feels like it would be very comfy. I know that the price is a little bit more for these compared to other brands but if you want to keep your child comfortable and free of skin irritants etc I would highly recommend! Just stock up when they are on special!

I love the double layer flaps on the legs and the elastic stretch on the waist band. This provides a custom fit on the waist and a double catch system on the legs to prevent leaks. Also, love how absorbent it is. No more leaks for night time changes!! It has a handy line indicator on the front that changes from yellow to blue to show number 1’s. Highly recommend these nappies!!!

Huggies is a synonym often used for nappies. This brand has been an all time favourite for parents. I have a 5 months old and from the very first day she has been in Huggies. We have never thought of switching brands. It’s ultra absorbency is so cool. My daughter does not like to be changed once she sleeps in the night. The last diaper of the day runs for 10+ hours easily. I am very happy with Huggies and would highly recommend to others.

  45. tandie

Huggies nappies are the best on the market. I have tried countless cheaper brands and always come back to these ones. My little one wears them overnight and never leaks. Even when he wakes up his skin is dry so they absorb very well. They don’t leave red marks, and are very soft on the skin. Well worth the price!

I chose these nappies for my son when I was expecting, I did research and found them to be most reccomended and I’m so glad I tried them before any other brand. The quality is great, they’re so soft and gentle on bubs skin and we’re yet to experience any rashes or reactions. They hold during the night well (thankfully blessed with a good sleeper)

find these the best nappies for children , I have never had an issue with them with both my kids.
They’re more expensive than other brands but I feel like the price is justified as they don’t leak, don’t cause irritation or nappy rash.
I like with baby and newborn they have the line which changes colour of baby has done a wee.

  48. izabella

I don’t use these nappies full time but these nappies are fantastic at keeping Bub dry. They last all night. They are more expensive than others but well worth the investment. Especially recommend them for long car rides or outings where you dont want to be held back by the need to constantly change nappies.

Such a reliable nappy – they have great absorbency and the inner lining is nice and soft and seems to draw the moisture away from the skin. I think this is why our little one hasn’t had any redness or rash while using these nappies. They’re great at keeping leakages to a rare minimum and I love the wetness indicator. It’s a vertical line on the nappy that changes colour when that section of the nappy is wet or dirty (so you know what you’re in for before you open it!).

Have tried a few other brands and always come back to Huggies. No leakage and lasts 12 hour stints over night. Some say they are pricey compared to others however I disagree. Both Woolies and Coles regularly have them on sale and often less in price than other brands. Very reliable. Newborn size in neutral in gender so good idea for baby shower gifts too. Never had an issue!

These are by far the very best nappies on the market. I’ve used Huggies for both my children – along with a variety of other brands and we always come back to these. They stay dry, are great for overnight and leave no marks on baby’s body. They come in a great range of sizes, and their pull up range is also great for toddlers!

  52. ninno

These Huggies nappies are excellent because they fitted well on my son and we also did not need to change him through the night. We didn’t want to wake him up so these nappies were good because they last the entire night. They are an expensive nappy but they are definitely worth it because you don’t need as many changes.

Huggies newborn are a must for any new born baby. They are super absorbent and never leave any rashes. They are a bit more expensive than other brands but I think it’s worth it. Once my son got a bit older I changed brands due to price but after trying other newborn nappies this brand is the only brand for me in those first few months.

I’ve been using huggies nappies since my baby was a newborn and not once have they leaked. They did well holding in all the runny newborn poops and we haven’t had any problems overnight either. We are currently using the crawler size and they’ve are such a good fit. The absorbency is excellent as well. My baby is prone to getting eczema and nappy rash and even when left on over night and they are filled to capacity she still has a dry bum. We have had no problems with her getting nappy rash since only using the nappies.

We were provided Huggies in the hospital, and haven’t looked back. Before my son was born I bought Huggies and Pampas, I wasn’t sure which would suit but we all preferred Huggies by far. They are good quality, very absorbent, 7 months on have held in every explosion so far and best of all no nappy rash.

I have tried several different brands of nappies but for overnight nothing can beat the absorbency of huggies. My daughter is a tummy sleeper and all other brands ended in her soaking wet by morning but after 12 hours she still dry with the huggies. I do but a size up though.

  57. carlee

We started using huggies since this was provided in our hospital and we were so happy with it we decided to stick with it. i absolutely love the wetness Indicator, it definitely helps new mummies to know when it’s time to change the bub. I love the wetness indicate strip. Turns from yellow to blue when the nappy is wet.
I also loce the winnie the pooh print.
I have tried other brands and nothing compares to huggies.

I like them because you can just slip them on while they are standing because trying to put a nappy on a toddler is rough they don’t lay still for more than 2 seconds, I like that it’s got a long absorbency life for over nights as he was weeing through his other ones almost every night disturbing his sleep. They are nice and soft too.

I love Huggies, they would have to be the best disposable nappy on the market in my view. I used them when my baby was first born ( for the first month or so) and then started using cloth nappies and I still do use cloth but sometimes it is so good just to pull out a disposable to use especially if she has a touch of gastro. So much easier to dispose of then having to wash disgusting smelling poo off the bamboo liners. Yuck!! I love that huggies are so absorbent and they actually hold everything in the nappy instead of it leaking out on to me or my baby’s clothing so that I don’t have to wash poo off other items of clothing. I recommend if you are using disposables pay the little extra and get Huggies you will be doing yourself and your baby a big favour.

When my first child was born I found the nappy isle of the supermarket overwhelming. They all have different things written , which do you choose ?
I went with huggies based on the fact my hospital used them and no regrets !
Best nappies I have even used with not a single leak in his two years of life.

The huggies nappy pants are fantastic! I’ve tried every brand of nappy on the market and these are the only nappies I could safely use. I didn’t have to worry about changing my babies nappy overnight as they’re so absorbent, we never found they leaked through! They are Reasonable price aswell.

We have always used huggies branded nappies so when our daughter was ready to move into nappy pants the huggies ones were our first choice. We have found them to be excellent and very few leaks unless she had had loads to drink! Overall we are very happy and impressed with the huggies nappy pants and will be using them all the way through with our second daughter

As always, Huggies are great nappies! We used them before and when our son was ready to move into nappy pants we found Huggies as the best choice. Very absorbent and no redness or irritation and fit perfectly! I’m happy to be able to offer more safety and freedom to my baby, using the right nappy. They are a bit on the expensive side, so we stock up when on sale.

We New we didn’t have to worry about changing his nappy overnight as they’re so absorbent, we never found they leaked through! My only criticism would be sometimes we found the sides came apart easily although this never really caused any issues!

Very good at containing wetness and not leaking. These nappies make it through the whole night.

Super soft to touch and designed with a super stretchy waistband, these nappies feel and look luxurious. These nappies met all of the requirements of a nappy however I do think the ‘back’ print whilst stylish is not easily legible. I also think the nappy seems wider at the base then say the Minnie nappy pants, making them bulkier in the crouch then necessary. Also not sure how breathable the waistband would be if worn in hot weather.

It absorbs really well, soft and for the first time my toddler hasn’t complain that it’s itchy like the other brands. However the size 4 brand looks like a size 5 fit as it’s definitely bigger than Huggies normal nappy pants

Definitely upgrade from old ultimate Nappy pants. More stretchy waist and fits better.

We trialled these nappy pants and were quite impressed. The sizing is generous and they have a soft stretchy make. Found them to be a nice fit and comfy for our daughter. They seem to hold well but did notice some odour if left for too long.

This product is good, but the one it’s replaced was better.
We’re on 2nd box and I’m missing the resealable sides and we’ve had couple of leakages now, so they don’t last as long as the others. So, not suitable for heavy sleepers – or long trips.
However, they are a slimmer line, look more comfortable on and less bulky. They’ve a silkier feel to the touch too.
