Calendula Weather Protection Cream is especially developed to protect the delicate skin of your baby or child from the effects of bleak weather, and is additionally very suitable for adults who have sensitive skin. The cream does not contain any water, offering extra protection against harsh weather, and it protects the skin from drying out. Beeswax is very gentle on the skin and is therefore suitable for use in products for sensitive skins.
How it works: Lanolin is a very light wax and gives sheep (from which it is obtained) excellent protection against rain and cold; at the same time, it maintains the moisture levels in the skin by attracting moisture from outside, ensuring that the skin does not dry out. Beeswax forms a very fine protective layer over the skin that does not clog the pores and lets the skin breathe. Because these skin-related substances do not let through any cold, damp or wind, Calendula Weather Protection Cream keeps the warmth in and wraps the baby in a protective layer, like a winter jacket. The cream is thin and oily, so it blends in easily. However, it does not completely absorb into the skin, forming a fine layer of wax to protect your baby over a long period of time.
Directions for use: Before your children go outside, rub a little bit of Calendula Weather Protection Cream onto their faces, not forgetting their ears and lips. It is also good to rub the balm into their hands.
Especially for: your child’s skin to protect him against the effects of harsh weather, or when your child’s skin feels sore. Also for adults with sensitive skin.
Tip: Warm the balm up in your hands before rubbing a little bit of it into your child’s face. This will make it easier to blend in and you will warm up your hands while doing so.
